INTRODUCTION
The research interests in our SCL@HKU lie in the applications of geospatial technologies including remote sensing, GIS, geovisualization, spatial analytic tools, and integrated assessment modeling to understanding the problems of environmental change and their potential solutions for a sustainable environment. We are working in research areas concerning Urban Sustainability, including:
URBANIZATION MAPPING & MODELING
URBAN ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES
URBAN ENERGY USE AND EMISSIONS
URBAN SUSTAINABILITY
WATER-ENERGY-FOOD NEXUS

We are looking for self-motivated individuals (Research Assistants, Graduate Students, and Postdoctoral Fellows) who want to pursue research in urban sustainability, especially those with quantitative and computational backgrounds who would like to apply such skills to understand the problems of urban environmental change and their potential solutions for a sustainable urban environment.
